Driving While License Suspended

Driving While License Suspended

Habitual Traffic Offender

Habitual Traffic Offender

If the DMV classifies you as a “Habitual Traffic Offender” (HTO), your driver’s license will be automatically revoked for a period of (5) five years. How can I avoid “HTO status”? Avoid (3) three serious traffic offenses (e.g. driving while license suspended, DUI, etc) within a (5) five-year period. If you are stopped by the police while driving classified as a “HTO,” you could be charged with a felony. We may be able to get the “HTO suspension” removed by filing the appropriate motion(s) with the Court. Once “HTO status” is removed, you will no longer be required to purchase SR-22 Insurance and your full driving privilege will be restored.
